Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières Cancelled due to COVID-19

Shannonville (ON), April 17, 2020 – Yesterday, we have learned that the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières (GP3R) has suspended all public activities until 2021.

“While these are difficult times for all, we understand that making that decision was hard to do and we support it. GP3R is one of the most important racing events in Canada, and the highlight of our season. We feel that the health and safety of all should be the number one priority” affirms Dominique Bondar, General Manager of RACE Events.

With these unprecedented circumstances, the CTCC presented by Pirelli 2020 calendar has been affected by the present situation as some of our events were either postponed or cancelled.

Because we are committed to the teams and to our fans, we are working to ensure that racing will still be part of the landscape in some ways for 2020.

Our thoughts go out to the people who are affected by COVID-19. A world of thanks to the healthcare workers and everyone who works hard to contain this virus.
