All racecars must conform to the CTCC Regulations. 

The Regulations are available on the website.  In general, the racecars are unibody based and cannot be any older than ten years past the model cut-off date.  Eligible vehicle models are listed in the Regulations.  Specific requests may be made to CTCC for models not currently listed in the Regulations.

How can I race in CTCC?

All drivers must be licensed by a Canadian FIA member to be eligible to compete in CTCC.  USA citizens must hold a National or Pro licence issued by an FIA-affiliated racing organization and a Canadian FIA membership.  For drivers new to racing, you should consider taking an approved racing school and demonstrate your capabilities at the amateur level before competing in CTCC.

What are the different classes?

TCR: is a spec category of only TCR models of all participating manufacturers. No modifications are allowed in order to comply with TCR regulations.

GT Sport: is a category for sports cars with advanced suspension and aerodynamics.

How do I enter a CTCC event?

CTCC Online Registration Forms are available on the website under Competitors.  Please complete all of the required forms. Driver registration is mandatory for all drivers. Event Entry can be completed for the season (Preseason Discount Package) or prior to each event.

Where are the races?

CTCC races at some of the best tracks in Canada.  The season typically opens in May and ends in September.  The races are 40 minutes in length. 

What kind of tires are used in CTCC?

The specified tire for CTCC is the Pirelli Racing Tire.  There are specific sizes for each Class of race car as shown in the Rules and Regulations.   There are different tires for dry and wet conditions.  Competitors must purchase tires through the CTCC designated tire dealer.  The tire dealer will be attending each event to provide on-site tire service and support.  The details of the tire program are available on the website under Competitors.

How much does it cost to compete in CTCC?

CTCC costs are shown on the Entry Form and available on the website under Competitors.  Here is an approximate breakdown of some potential costs to participate in an event.

What is the Preseason Discount Package?

The CTCC Preseason Discount Package provides season-long competitors with significant cost savings over the regular event entry fees.  The package includes a discount on the cost of your first two sets of Pirelli Racing Tires and tickets to the Awards Gala.  The cost savings are achieved by pre-paying for the up-coming season by April 15th.

How do I get the CTCC decals and patches?

Embroidery files of the required patches are available on the CTCC website.  Limited number of patches is available through the CTCC office.  Decals will be sent out upon registration to competitors.  The decal and suit patches layout for race cars are available in the CTCC Rulebook.
