Season Planning Almost Complete

Championship President, John Bondar and Technical Director, Peter Mills, attended the Peformance Racing Industry trade show in Orlando, Florida, this past December.  Their goal was to meet industry suppliers and to develop contingency partnerships.

"We were flattered with the response we received. When we introduced ourselves, they said we know all about you! and we want to know about your secret formula for a successful Championship," explained John.

Peter met with representatives from Traqmate to learn more about their GPS data aquisition technology.  The Championship tested one unit in 2009 and was very satisfied with the results and is now looking at wider use of the Traqmate GPS. "Traqmate has offered to custom-build the units to our specifications which will make them easy-to-use and tamper proof," stated Peter.  "I believe the units will help us to verify vehicle performance and ultimately make the racing more competitive."

John met with members of the international motorsports community at the Motorspors Business Forum that was held prior to PRI.  He made some valuable contacts and learned about how corporations benefit from national and international motorsport marketing plans.

"The Lombardi Honda Racing Team is not leaving anything to chance with their selection of an experienced and talented driver line-up." explained Tony Lombardi, team owner. “I am very happy with our choice of drivers for 2010.  They all have the potential to win races and the title,” he declared. “We wanted three drivers that would battle during every lap to ensure our colours would triumph and that’s exactly what we have with – in order of car number - Nick, Alex, and Benjamin.”
