Racing History:
He got his start in racing helping his little brother in the Formula 1600 Esso Protec Series in the early 90's. His brother then got into karting after having skipped that in the first place, so he followed his brother and helped him there as well. Frank then hopped in a Yamaha kart for a few races and after two years got his 7 year old son, Ryan Blanchet, into racing in 1997. Then two years later, in 1999 Ryan's brother Greg Blanchet started racing at the age of 7.  His two sons raced karts for the next decade or so, with Frank as Crew Chief and Mechanic with the help of his brother Mario who used to race.

In 2004 Frank meet someone who had two cars a not so stock Cheverlot Monte Carlo and a 2002 Nissan Sentra. The Sentra was not being used at all and Frank was given the opportunity to use it on a Test Day....he fell in love and entered a race under observation two weeks later.  The next season he had bought the car and was ready to race in as many races as he could for the 2005 Ontario GT Sprints Series, while still making all of the karting races for his sons.

The next two seasons would be concentrated on the car and narrowly losing the 2006 championship by 3 points and ending up 3rd. 2007 was the season that no one could believe.  He did a double-duty season entering the Ontario GT Sprints and the new national Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship Presented By TOYO Tires.  He entered just under 50 races and finished every single race, without one DNF (Did Not Finish). He won the GT-D Championship, The Ontario GT Sprints Overall Championship, and came 5th in the CCTC Championship Touring Class where really a Sentra shouldn't have finished in points.
In 2008 Frank did just the Canadian Castrol Touring Car Championship, finishing 11th in points after a very tough year. This year Ryan enters the Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship at age 19.
