Oshawa-based CAN-SAF Motorsports with driver Kurt Langeveldt were finally able to enjoy a weekend of successes at Bowmanville’s world famous Mosport International Raceway.
Kuno is still in California. He has Dodge duties to perform in LA. He had a fantastic weekend. Pole and led from green to checkered. Maximum points possible. No one ever threatened him for the lead. The Volvo of Pobst bogged at the start and that was it for them. Kuno moved from 5th in the championship to second, one point behind the lead. Mosport should be a real interesting double header. Daskalos in a Viper won there last year.
Kuno would love to race with you guys anytime, but his Dodge contract won't allow him driving anything else but a Dodge.
Nick didn't do too badly either in his first race with a new Honda Civic Si coupe. Pole and finished third, thanks to a deliberate hit by one of the Scions. They would both have won their classes easily pending no mecanical or driver errors.
Nick will have his chance again in Toronto when he's back with the RealTime HDR Civic Si and CCTCC Lombardi Honda Civic.
